LIAM’S BEST FRIEND IS HIS MOMMY. She is so attentive to his every need. She is so concerned about his every activity. She does everything in her power to assure his success. The love pours out of her every day. Plus, he is the best dressed kid on the block. Our future child will certainly enjoy Megan’s enormous capacity to love.
Megan is incredibly well rounded. She was a college basketball player. She was a professional cheerleader. She was a model. She has worked in the business world. And, she started her own children’s shoe company. Megan actually learned to sew leather shoes in order to start this business, which is now a large, internationally recognized brand – Megan no longer makes the shoes by hand. She is an inspiration to me and to the rest of our family.
TO PARAPHRASE THE FAMOUS LINE FROM ROMEO AND JULIET, “WHAT LIGHT THROUGH YONDER WINDOW BREAKS? IT IS THE EAST AND MEGAN IS OUR SUN.” FOR LIAM AND MYSELF, MEGAN IS OUR SUN, MOON, AND STARS. AND, SHE WILL BE ALL THAT FOR ANY CHILD WE ARE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO ADOPT.

ABOUT MEGAN BY SCOTT CONTINUED
Megan and I met because of her work. She worked for a medical supply company. I’m an orthopedic surgeon. We actually met in the operating room. We were both in scrubs. As you may see, Megan has a big head of red hair. In the OR, it was all tucked up into the surgical hat. When I saw that hair fall out of the hat, I was done – Love instantly!
Megan loves family. She is particularly close to her mother, Mary (Nana). And Nana absolutely loves Liam as she would any addition to our family. She is also very close to my mother, Karen (Grandma K). Megan always puts family first.
Megan means so much to me. I love her and I can’t see life without her. She is my anchor. She is my definition of home. Plus, I marvel at her ability to mother. Warm, compassionate, passionate, smart, beautiful, energetic, honest, committed: this is what Megan is made of.
We very much want to adopt a child. We have talked about this for a long time. The simple reason why we could do this is because Megan is a wonderful mother to Liam and will be a wonderful mother to our new addition.
